Chocolate Monster

'Chocolate Monster' should be the name of the cake instead of 'too much Chocolate cake', it have a nicer ring and it is a monster. After one sinful mouthful of it, you will feel as if you have died and float to chocolate heaven. Couldn't be bother to ice the cake, thats where the tomato came in as deco...hahahahahaha
Initially, I was very disappointed with the cake because it seems to be too gooey and couldn't hold its form well and to think I have destroy the recipe. To make it worst, while the cake is cooling off, it have this horrible indent in the middle and I was soooooooo disappointed with the outlook, so I couldn't care to look at it anymore. I just leave it out in the open to cool off and into the fridge it went. The next morning, I was getting hungry so wat the heck I will have to eat what I make and loh and behold.....It have the right texture and have such a lovely chocolaty taste and ohhhhhhhhh....It is the most beautiful chocolate cake I have ever made.....Chocoholics beware one bite into it and you will never. ever. ever want to eat another store bought chocolate cake....Its not me, its the recipe....just google 'too much chocolate cake' and you will find the recipe....and its easy to make.

Its good when its cold to hold the form and if you heat it up ohhlala....the chocolate will just melt in your mouth.....

Couldn't resist showing off my collection of super cute picks from Daiso....so cute right.....hahahaha they are all made in China... This is to show that we can never turn our backs on the Chinese coz no matter where the product is from you can almost get the same if not similar product from China.

Sticking my hands in the dirt

My gardening passion all started, through a cup of Moroccan mint tea and boy was there no turning back. It was so flavourful and natural that I couldn't help but wonder what else was in it. Well apparently, its a huge dose of different types of mint, green tea, lemongrass and sugar. Hence that started my research on growing mint, I have normal mint, apple mint and currently starting peppermint on seeds.

Incidentally started the war on territory of the balcony with my dad. He keeps fishes for a hobby and I have to butt in with my plants to take up the much needed space in our 5 feet square space. I won myself a small little corner where I plant my tuberose and mint plants. Right now a myriad of seeds are waiting to be germinate some of which include siberian crab apple, sweet william, perfume acacia, orange jasmine, gardenia and strawberry fragissimo.

Its not so much of enjoying the fruits of one's labour but watching it grow everyday. That is the part of nature, a miracle that I constantly find intriguing and amazing. It is my small little contribution of returning to nature in this huge concrete jungle of ours. Hope you guys enjoy the site as much as I enjoy putting it up.
